Hi, I'm wanting to open a bank account in Turkey to receive and send the local currency. I am not a Turkish citizen, Is there a way for me to obtain a Turkish potential tax ID from Australia (without having a Turkish address or phone number)? Alternatively if I have to travel to Turkey would I be able to obtain a potential Tax ID on a standard tourist visa and open a bank account or is there a minimum length of stay or visa requirement? Thanks for you help.
